Creating a BRIGHT future with SunWatts!

The path to a cleaner, brighter environment starts with SunWatts™, a program designed to help electric cooperative customers take part in exciting renewable electric generation technologies throughout Arizona. These technologies help us reduce our dependence on natural resources such as fossil fuel, and help to reduce power plant emissions.

SunWatts™ is an exciting program offered Arizona's Touchstone Energy® cooperatives. These programs are meant to get customers involved in "green" power and to help foster the growth and the renewables industry.

There are three SunWatts programs:

Contribution Program: Contribute to a ‘green fund’ used to install large-scale renewable projects throughout Arizona;

Incentive program: Get money back — up to $4 per watt — for installed, qualified photovoltaic systems at your home or small business.

Large-Scale Generation: This program encompasses large-scale projects (generally >25kW), which can include wind, biomass, landfill gas and, of course, solar installations.
